Ph1lza ended up not able to give the zombie an item, because any spawned zombie has a chance, up to 10% on hard difficulty, to be able to pick up items. If they don’t spawn in this way, they cannot and never will pick something up, you have to use a name tag.
The drop chances for each of the 4 items listed in ArmorItems. A value of 1.0f means 100% chance of the item being dropped when the zombie is killed, 0.5f means 50%, 0.2f means 20%, and so on.
