Well i would like to point out that Zombies very rarely pick up items. They still do but rarely. 1)YOU can not give a zombie a certain object/item they spawn with it or eaither pickup a tool of the ground.They can not pickup blocks. For that last part, tell that to the zombie who smacked me with dirt.

Best. , I think I may have a solution. If you have mob griefing off, it kills the villager (because I guess a zombie killing a villager counts as mob griefing).
