With assetto corsa the way the car handles usually makes sense, even if the cars physics aren't great, with carx it feels like the car isn't in my control. Transitions are unpredictable and rapid, when drifting the wheel goes light and doesn't self steer in any way, it just doesn't feel right. For the E30 drift I like to run high front camber, -1 rear, -30 front toe and 26/40 PSI SV tyres but its all preference and driving style. Just google assetto corsa car setup guide and there should be plenty. 2. Japanese tracks (except Suzuka). They are the best tracks for drifting. They have alot of tight corners to drift. sc is always off when drifting or driving. Actually sc stops the car from drifting properly, but you have to learn the throttle control with sc off. yeah okay, since im still a noob a drifting i have it on and it stops me from spinning out hahaha. #3. Swazzy Aug 26, 2020 @ 4:06am.

A buddy just recently drove a Porsche GT3 (non RS) at the Porsche Driving Experience and he had to help the steering wheel rotate while trying to drift. Apparently at least in that car (from what the instructor said) this is normal behavior. Hilarious because this is very similar to how the G29 behaves.
start out slow in an easy car on an easy track. Learn the racing line. learn to brake before turns, learn how to turn into the apex and learn how to accelerate out. get used to the feel of the car as you do things like brake harder or softer accelerate early or late and how hitting the corner apex early or late affect your performance. Assetto Corsa is a setup game. So a better setup make the car vastly easier to drive & pull moves you can't do with the default setup. You simply need to adjust the correct tire pressure, get the alignment right based on the suspension compression, use ackerman steering to match the slip angle & tune the suspension based on the law of inertia. WDT and 1:1/SimSquad are the only acceptable ones. The rest is pretty much made up trash. Tando buddies trash aswell? The gt86 is a very technical car to drift since it has so little power. You need to work the clutch so that you can keep the wheels spinning. If the wheels stop having power put to them you will gain grip and stop drifting pretty much immediately. Also, you are counter steering too much, and too early. Just put your camera distance in the assetto corsa settings to far behind the car, or else you'll basically be on your car because it is really close. You could also try interior view. To drift a right turn, move the stick to the right and hold it there. The script will try and straighten the car out, but you're applying force to the wheel to keep the car in a right turn. The result is that as long as the stick is held to the right, the car rotates clockwise if viewed top down. Hold the stick left for anticlockwise. Assetto Corsa. Question about stability control. Really if you keep spinning out then you should lower it to like 70% get used to that then 50% etc until you get to 0% stability control becuase irl if you turn off ESP that turns off Stability Control and TC for when you are drifting.
